Brief Introduction of chain conveyor
Chain Conveyor is an equipment of conveying materials in bulk in virtue of moving scraper
chain in close and rectangular cross section carass. It is widely used in conveying conny,
commissariat, cement, chemical fertilizer, etc, but materials that are easy to burn, or with
high temperature and poison or strong mealiness are not included
Structure and principle of operation
As well known, chain bulk material conveyor apparatus construction utilizing spaced frames or skeletonized flights attached to an endless cable or chain are well known. An en masse conveyor is a machine in which the material moves within a stationary duct as a continuous core as contrasted with the manner of movement of material conveyed by a screw or flight conveyor, bucket elevator or belt conveyor. Achieving " en masse" movement depends upon the material moved having a higher internal friction factor than the materials friction factor on the contact surface on the stationary trough. Conveyors based on this principal have the advantage of conveying large capacity relative to their cross section.This is similar to the belt conveyor but there are much different with it,such as bulk material conveyor apparatus constructions utilizing flexible endless material-moving belts, formed U-shaped troughs that frictionally support conveyor system endless belts, and drive, idle, and tensioning roll endless belt drives.

2Driving arrangement
Consist of cycloidal pin wheel reducer、cover、driving frame etc.

3 Main structure
Main structure include head section、trail section、transition section, feeding section, middle section and drag chain.
3.1 Head section include head wheel, main shaft, bearing base, head housing.
Head wheel and main shaft adopt 40Cr,the strength is large. Head housing adopt superior steel plate(thickness of plate is 10mm),bearing adopt self-aligning roller bearing, the life will be over 35000 hours.
3.2 The tail section include tail wheel, tail shaft, bearing base, tail housing and take-up device etc.
Tail wheel and wheel shaft adopt 45#, head section adopt superior steel, bearing adopt self-aligning roller bearing, the life will be over 35000 hours, take-up device adopt screw rod&spring structure.
3.3 This equipment include middle section(transition section and feeding section include ) is composed of housing.
4、Conveying chain：It consist of internal&outside chain plate(include scraper) and connection pin roll etc.
internal&outside chain plate adopt 40Cr, pin roll adopt 42CrMo, then deal with carburizing and quenching, the surface is high hardness and the internal part is high strength. The scraper plate adopt 16Mn, then weld them with CO2 gas protection automatic.
5、Rust prevention and paint.
Before paint，we will do shot-blasting for the surface of the steel, the processing is in accordance with JB/ZQ4000.10, the drag chain will be painted with anticorrosive pain. The surface of paint is evenly, brilliant and color is coincident.
